3 Rivers Communication Presented Augusta Library with Grant
April 15, 2015 (Augusta, MT)—Lewis & Clark Library Augusta Branch Librarian Holly Herring was presented with a $1,350 check from 3 Rivers Communication last week to use however she sees fit at her Library. “I am so thrilled to receive this grant,” explained Holly. “I’m looking forward to putting in an outdoor reading area behind the Library that all patrons can enjoy.”
This is not the first grant that 3 Rivers has awarded to the Augusta Library. Several years ago, then Librarian Susan Good Geise, received a grant from 3 Rivers Communication that she used to buy books for students entering kindergarten at the Augusta School.
“We are so pleased to present the Augusta Library with this grant,” explained Susan Wilson, Community Outreach Coordinator for 3 Rivers Communication. “The Augusta Library holds a special place in my heart and I am happy to be able to support them in their ongoing efforts to provide quality library services to the residents of this community.”
The Augusta Library has served the Augusta community for over 40 years as part of the Lewis & Clark Library System. The Library is open Sundays-Thursdays and offers an array of programs, events, and classes for the community. Branch Librarian Holly Herring can be reached at 406.562.3348 or hherring@lclibrary.org.
