April 11, 2014 (Helena, MT)—Want your child to learn and practice safe cycling skills? Your Lewis & Clark Library Bookmobile has partnered with BikeWalk Helena, the City-County Health Department, and the Helena Bicycle Club to help kids of all ages learn safe biking skills while enjoying being outside.
Join Safe Routes to School and the L&C Library Bookmobile for a Bike Rodeo on April 22nd from 5:00-7:00 PM. A Bike Rodeo is a fun course where kids learn how to correctly signal, be car aware, and ride around obstacles. Each participant will need a signed waiver form and please bring a bike, a helmet, and a water bottle if possible. There are bikes and helmets for use at the rodeo too. Waiver forms are available at the Bookmobile and Lewis & Clark Library.
