Epic Helena Pokestop Scavenger Hunt of Awesomeness @ Your Lewis & Clark Library!
July 21, 2016 (Helena, MT)—People are out and about exploring, all in effort to capture as many Pokemon as they can! Now, you can even have more fun with the Epic Helena Pokestop Scavenger Hunt of Awesomeness hosted by your Lewis & Clark Library.
Lewis & Clark Library Teen Services Librarian Heather Dickerson with the help of a tremendous teen volunteer, Amanda, developed an in-real-life scavenger hunt to encourage people to play and engage with fabulous historical markers around Helena.
How it works:
• Players pick up or download an “Epic Helena Pokestop Scavenger Hunt of Awesomeness” from www.lclibrary.org, or https://www.facebook.com/LewisandClarkLibraryHelena/, or from the Information Desk.
• Visit Pokestops in the Downtown Helena area. These are places of historical significance or public art installations.
• Find the stamp hidden there. It’s cached in a plastic box inside a plastic bag.
• What’s inside:
(Stamp, Ink Pad, Pamphlet, and Instructions)
• Stamp your pamphlet and return the items to where they were found.
• Return your completed pamphlet to the Lewis & Clark Library’s Public Desk for a prize!
This is a fun and free way to get out and explore Downtown Helena. For more information log onto www.lclibrary.org and Remember, There’s Always Something Going on @ Your Lewis & Clark Library!
