Roof Update!
October 30, 2015 (Helena, MT)—Workers are making good progress on the Library’s re-roofing project. “The contractors have been working for about a month and have completed a good chunk of the initial work,” reported Lewis & Clark Library Director Judy Hart.
Contractors are hoping to wrap up the project in the next 6 weeks, but the time-line is dependent on the weather. “We have been fortunate that the weather has been mostly cooperative so far and we are hopeful it will continue to be a mild Fall,” explained Hart.
The Library’s main parking lot is still being used for a staging area so patrons are being encouraged to park on Park Avenue adjacent to the Library. “Our patrons have been very patient during this process. Having a portion of the parking lot blocked off is for everyone’s safety and we appreciate the public’s cooperation,” stated Hart.
