  1. Helena Ukulele Jam Session

    April 29, 2019, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Large Meeting Room

    Join the Helena Ukulele Club in the Large Meeting Room at Lewis & Clark Library from 6:00-8:00 PM the last Monday of each month, unless otherwise published. Come meet and play music with fellow ukulele players in Helena, Montana! Music is available for pick up all month long at the Information Desk of the Main Library before each program. Everyone 12 years and older is welcome to participate and everyone is welcome to share music or lead a session. Ukuleles are not provided so please bring your own. We are currently working on a group songbook while also learning new songs along the way.

    April 1, 2019 - April 30, 2019

    Explore woke literature with Lewis & Clark Library! During April, we invite you to read a title from a community created list of woke literature (or choose your own) and submit a brief response. You’ll earn a book to keep and be entered into a drawing for a “Read Woke” t-shirt. Submit your responses at Lewis & Clark Library in Helena between April 1 and 30. A Woke Book Must: Challenge a social norm ? Give voice to the voiceless ? Provide information about a group that has been disenfranchised ? Seek to challenge the status quo ?
