    Celebrate National Poetry Month and come to a reading of poems by 10 members of our Helena community who will read a poem that has personal significance. This is always a wonderful evening with a reception to follow. This year's readers are: Bonnie Bowler, Mayor Wilmot Collins, Helen Fandrich, Loren Graham, Captain Rob Lawler, Riley Meredith, Hannah Musckiewicz, City Commissioner Ed Noonan, Judge Jim Reynolds, and Jill Roberts.

    April 1, 2019 - April 30, 2019

    Explore woke literature with Lewis & Clark Library! During April, we invite you to read a title from a community created list of woke literature (or choose your own) and submit a brief response. You’ll earn a book to keep and be entered into a drawing for a “Read Woke” t-shirt. Submit your responses at Lewis & Clark Library in Helena between April 1 and 30. A Woke Book Must: Challenge a social norm ? Give voice to the voiceless ? Provide information about a group that has been disenfranchised ? Seek to challenge the status quo ?
