  1. [Your Story Here]: Teen Creativity Showcase

    August 24, 2017, 11:00 AM - October 1, 2017, 9:00 PM

You have a story. Your story matters. We want to listen. Are you writer, poet, or artist? Would you like to see your works published? Your Lewis & Clark Library has an opportunity for you! Submit to LCLTeens’ Library Zine, [Your Story Here] ! [Your Story Here] is a project meant to celebrate the creativity of teens in Lewis & Clark County. We ask you - young people between grades 6 and 12 - to submit your poetry, short stories, essays, and original artwork on the theme of “Unleashing Your Story” for the inaugural issue of this periodic publication. Please be broad and creative in your approach to your interpretation of what it means for you (or your family, your community, your....) to “unleash your story.” Think about why we tell stories; how we tell stories; how story can shape the belief in our own self-worth and power; stories that inspire you; how sharing/hearing stories led to action. We want your story, told in your own unique and authentic voice.
