Tax Resource Information Available on Library Website
February 1, 2021 (Helena, MT)—It is once again tax season and the Lewis & Clark Library has compiled a list of resources available in Lewis and Clark County. “While the Library remains closed and those agencies that have traditionally provided in-person tax assistance are not able to do so this tax season due to COVID restrictions, we are committed to helping our patrons connect with those organizations and entities that provide assistance and tax guidance,” explained Lewis & Clark Library Director John Finn.
The Library’s webpage contains a comprehensive list of tax resources available in Lewis and Clark County, some are free and some charge a fee for filing. The list of resources includes the following:
The Lewis & Clark Library has the following tax resources available:
Federal Forms and Booklets are available in the Lobby area of the Main Branch. The State of Montana forms are all online, but the Library also has limited printed copes of the Montana form for those who request one. The Library does not have copies of the Montana Instructions for distribution, but does have a copy that can be viewed during Non-Contact Holds Pick-Up hours. Forms can be picked up Monday-Friday 11AM-6PM; Saturday 11AM-5PM; Sunday 1-5PM.
