Teen Book Scout Recommendations
The Lewis & Clark Library teen space is a great place to hang out for teens. Teens can converse with friends, find out what’s happening at the library, check out the "teen-centric" library materials, pick up a craft activity, and so much more! Another thing a teen can do in the teen space is leave a book recommendation. There's a specially marked “Book Scouts” journal in which teens can write about what they've been reading and recommend other teens read these books, too.
Here are a few book suggestions from teens who’ve recently written in the journal:

by Mackenzi Lee
It just gave me an insight into how Loki's mind worked and made me think of him in a whole new light.

Words on Fire
by Jennifer Nielsen
Set during the Russian occupation of the small European country of Lithuania, this historical fiction is, as all of Nielsen's books, amazingly poignant, and Anya's story of smuggling books as part of the revolution is particularly delightful for avid readers.

The Lightning Thief: Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 1
by Rick Riordan
I hated reading as a kid until I read these books. I've read this series 8 times! I know, huge nerd, right? Anyway, this book made me love reading and stories. It's an amazing modern twist on Greek myths that anyone would love.
