I love listening to celebrity autobiographies in audiobook format, especially when narrated by the author. It’s fun to learn about how talented people got their start in life. Three of my favorites are Stories I Only Tell My Friends by Rob Lowe, Inside Out by Demi Moore, and Nevertheless by Alec Baldwin. Each of these audiobooks is enjoyable to listen to, heart-felt, full of interesting anecdotes, and well-written. Listening to the stars read is like having them in the room with you as they tell you their life stories.

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook written and narrated by Trevor Noah. Listen to this amazing memoir and his stories come alive. You’ll learn about his experiences growing up during and after the apartheid in South Africa. I was amazed at his resiliency and moved to laughter, anger, and disbelief. I don’t regularly watch the Daily Show, but I am definitely a fan of Trevor Noah.

If you enjoyed the movie Rocketman you’ll be happy to know that the audiobook version of Elton John’s memoir, Me, is read by the same actor who portrayed him in the film.
