Looking for new eBooks to enjoy? These are some of the most anticipated titles coming to Axis 360 from mid-November through the end of the year. They include biography, science-fiction, thriller, true-crime, and a young adult novel.
Most readers know Michael J. Fox from his iconic film and television roles; however, he also has a multi-decade history of advocacy for research into Parkinson’s Disease. This (audio) book, his third memoir, shares stories and observations about health, aging, and a variety of other topics. Read by the author. Also available from the library in print.
Highly anticipated sequel to Ready Player One, which provides a lot of world-building that readers will find necessary for this one. So, grab that one first. The books take place in the near future, but also includes nostalgia for the early days of video games. The audiobook is read by Wil Wheaten (Wesley Crusher from ST: TNG).
A dark domestic thriller from the author of The Wives. An elderly therapist moves in (sort of) with a family that is harboring many sinister secrets. This book is receiving great reviews. Fisher is an up-and-coming author worth keeping an eye on.
Lewis & Clark library patrons check-out a lot of true crime! This new one promises to engage readers of the genre as it explores the crimes of white nationalist serial killer (and bank robber) Joseph Paul Franklin.
Imagine Romeo & Juliet set in 1920s Shanghai, China. This is that book. The positive reviews are already stacking up. The author was born in Shanghai (raised in New Zealand), bringing multiple unique perspectives to the world of this book.
Note: The sparsity of December titles reflects the relatively smaller number of books released in December.
