New on Axis 360

October/November 2020

Looking for new eBooks to enjoy? These are some of the most anticipated titles coming to Axis 360 from mid-October to mid-November. They include four novels and a book of poetry.

The Sentinel by Lee Child (10/27/20)

This is the next installment in the ongoing Jack Reacher series. Lee Child is a perennial favorite author whose books, whether in print or eBook, are known to have holds’ lists for miles. The library typical grabs additional copies of these popular thrillers.

The Wonder Boy of Whistle Stop by Fannie Flagg (10/27/20)

So much excitement for this one! A companion to the modern classic, Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Café, Flagg’s newest book is a welcome piece of nostalgia and a good excuse to read or listen to her previous work or at least watch Fried Green Tomatoes (again).

The Cold Millions by Jess Walter (10/27/20)

An early twentieth century tale of two brothers from Montanawritten by the acclaimed author of Beautiful Ruins. The novel is historical fiction based around the free speech riots in Spokane, Washington (1909 - 1910) and yet is still relevant to current events. Receiving great reviews. Possibly Walter’s best work to date.

The Law of Innocence by Michael Connelly (11/10/20)

In the newest book in Connelly’s long-running Lincoln Lawyer series, Mickey Haller has been framed for murder. 750,000 copy first printing. There are high expectations for this one.

Dearly by Margaret Atwood (11/10/20)

Why, yes, it is poetry! For those readers who only know Atwood for The Handmaid’s Tale, it may come as a surprise that she is also a poet. This is her first published collection in quite some time. Possibly with zombies?

Publication dates are subject to change!

These are not all of the new books available on Axis 360!
