There seems to be apps for everything these days: ordering food, paying bills, social media, and much more. Have you ever wished there was an app to keep track of the many books you're reading at one time? Well let me introduce you to Beanstack, the new app offered by your Lewis & Clark Library!
Beanstack is a super easy to use tracker that lets you scan a book’s ISBN number which imports all the book’s important details; such as author, title, and number of pages. From there, you can review the book, start a reading session, or log past reading which lets you keep track of your progress.
Beanstack has no limit on how many books you can track at one time and it keeps all of your past and current books, whether completed or not. It also keeps track of your stats, such as minutes read, pages read, books read, and even reading sessions!
The other fun feature of Beanstack is that you can join reading or activity challenges put on by your Lewis and Clark Library! Past challenges have included Book Bingo, Stay Home and Read, and the current summer reading program which challenges our patrons to read 1000 hours this summer! Each challenge has its own badges that you earn depending on how much you've read or what activities you’ve completed.
If you're like me and find yourself jumping from book to book depending on your mood, Beanstack is the app for you! There’s something so satisfying about seeing all the books you've completed in one nice neat place and Beanstack can give you that satisfaction!
